Dr. Aaron Draper
I grew up in Fresno California in a family of 9 children, 5 boys and 4 girls. My mother was a stay-at-home mom and my father was an art teacher at Fresno City College for more than 30 years. I attended Fresno High School and graduated in 1972. I attended Fresno City College for 1 year before being called to serve a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints in Australia at the age of 19. Upon returning from Australia I continued with my education at Fresno City College. I then met and married Carol Gage, the daughter of Ben and Barbara Gage. After being married for 4 months we loaded up a truck and drove 2200 miles to Davenport Iowa where I had been accepted for enrollment at the well known Palmer College of Chiropractic. I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in June 1980 and after sitting for the National and California Chiropractic Boards I became licensed in January 1981 and began practicing with a local doctor here in Fresno. After about 9 months with this doctor I decided to go out on my own and have been practicing in my own practice for 26 yrs.
During these many years of practice I have travel all over the country receiving training in many chiropractic techniques because it became apparent to me that although traditional chiropractic practice and theory helped many many people there where some patients that simply did not respond to standard chiropractic procedures. This observation caused me to look at other points of views for helping patients return to health.
One of these other points of views has to do with the idea of subtle energy fields in and around the body that play a critical roll in ones health. Many doctors and scientist have studied and written about these energy fields and the idea of “energy medicine” has gain a fair amount of notice by those in mainstream medical healthcare as well as those in chiropractic.
Because of such remarkable results that I have seen with "energetic medicine" procedures, I have come to the conclusion that a patients healthcare is not complete unless the “energetic” part of them is include as part of the healthcare I provide.
These energetic procedures at times can seem to be inconsequential when compared to the more mechanistic procedures of drugs, surgery, physical therapy and chiropractic. But having now used the energy medicine technique that I currently use...Neuro Modulation Technique… for the past 3 years on a regular basis, I am convinced that it is an essential part of the care that I provide. It is very exciting to see these extraordinary responds in patients when using energy medicine. |
